When you use InPayoutsWeTrust to verify a payout, we collect the following information:

• Authentication Data: Your Discord ID, username, and email (if provided via OAuth) used strictly to verify ownership of your trading certificate.
• Public Trading Data: Information scraped from your publicly provided Topstep certificate URL, including your trading handle, payout amounts, and avatar.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your authentication data solely to verify that you are the legitimate owner of the submitted Topstep certificate. We do not have access to your private trading passwords, brokerage accounts, or any financial data not already present on the public certificate URL.

The public trading data we scrape is used to generate your shareable verified card and to rank you on our public leaderboard.

3. Data Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal authentication data to third parties. However, by the very nature of our service, the trading data you verify (payouts, handle, avatar) is made publicly accessible on our website and through OpenGraph images for social sharing.

4. Cookies and Tracking

We use strictly necessary cookies (such as those provided by NextAuth) to maintain your login session and secure your authentication state. We do not use intrusive third-party tracking cookies.

5. Data Retention and Deletion

We retain your verified data to maintain the integrity of our leaderboard. If you wish to revoke your verification and have your data removed from our public database, you can disconnect your account or contact us to process a deletion request.

6. Security

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your authentication tokens and prevent unauthorized access to our database. However, no method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure.
